The Pintxo Pairings: a 12-course Basque food & drink dinner!

Chef Jonah Miller (Maialino, Zagat 30 Under 30) is doing wonderful things at Huertas NYC

We want to be sure you experience it - so we've organized a tasting event. 

We'll taste 12 pintxos (small portions or snacks, eaten in the Basque country). Some are on the current menu; others are possibilities for fall. Your feedback will help shape the menu. 

We'll pair each course with Spanish drinks. The restaurant creates its own vermouth and carries a broad array of ciders, wines and beers - so expect surprises. 

We'll chat with the chef and beverage director Nate Adler (Blue Smoke) about recipes and pairings. 

This is sure to be a fun one!

Eater on Huertas: "The best dish among the raciones is something called migas, featuring tidbits of duck and croutons tossed in a verdant green sauce, with fresh pea shoots on top. Brilliant!" (6/24/14)
