i went to mad pizza restaurant last night at 8, leaving another function to get there - hung about for quite some time and asked the manager if there was a Joomla users group - he said no and gave me the names of the groups there inlcuding the gay meditation group and a birthday party. I did walk around the restaurant for a bit - i am very tall so easily seen - i am just wondered what happened - and who is the event organiser. Usually the event organiser either puts up a sign/tells the manager/or looks around and keeps an eye out for guests to make them welcome.

Sorry we missed you Elisabeth, we were there until after 9PM, we were sitting on the table right next to the bar. Hopefully you can come to our group in Feb when we resume our normal monthly meetup.

Sorry I can't be there as I'll be in Perth with my son visiting family and friends. I recall the same happening last year - next year I'll plan my trip to Perth around the SJUG Xmas dinner! Enjoy the night and I wish you all a happy and safe festive and holiday period.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
