My first time with this group and met amazing, friendly folks generous with their time and knowledge. Thanks for a great evening!

Yeah! Can't wait! The only thing that would make it even better is if I could stay in a vintage RV. Who knows where I can rent a vintage RV?

Put out the word with no reply. If I hear anything I will let you know.

Hi Kacey, If you plan on staying overnight be it in an RV,Car, or tent, then you need to make camping reservations. To do so go to www.JTlake.com. You can also go to www.scdva.org to check out pics of previous years. Look forward to seein you! Deb-Team SCDVA

Is there parking available for those who do not want to camp out? And if so, do you know the cost to park?

      March 28, 2013

No charge for parking just to attend. Very casual event. It is a bring your own everything event. So be sure to bring what you need to be comfortable, chairs, food, drink. Go to www.scdva.org and check out all the pics to get an idea of what there is.

I'm not sure what to expect =) And that is exciting! One question: this is obviously a campground. Are we renting separate plots and meeting somewhere at the grounds? How does it all work?

There is a central area next to the pond where there are screens/projectors. There is a raised area to set a chair, etc... There are camp sites for RV;s and tents but you have to rent them through the campground (Joshua Tree Lake Rv Campground). I stayed in a Marriott down in Thousand Palms, witch was fine and just about 15 minutes away. I might camp this time but I haven't decided yet. See you there!
