We are living in one of the most turbulent times in history. Economic collapse, climate change, energy, food, and water shortages, and breakdown of traditional institutions are all occurring at an increasingly rapid rate. The Mayan, Hopi, and other cultures have predicted a great transition around the time of 2012. While this is likely a time of destruction of unsustainable practices, it is also a time of personal and planetary evolution to a more conscious way of living. This group will explore the practical issues of providing for basic needs in this transition, as well as the societal and spiritual evolution that is taking place.
Faciltiated by Kelly Beninga. I am an engineer and the Global Director of Renewable Energy for a large engineering company. I also hold an MA in Transpersonal Pyschology. I am a student (but not expert) of peak oil, climate change, and the global economy, as well personal and societal transformation.
