Journeys of Inspiration is a partnership of the Rochester office of the American Cancer Society and a local organization called PackPaddleSki. JOI encourages individuals with a love of the outdoors to come together in the fight against cancer. Our members are individuals who have been deeply affected by the disease in some way. We have climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania for two years now (2008 and 2009) and will do so again 2010. In addition, in 2010 our members will hike Mt. Marcy in the Adirondacks of NY and climb to the base camp of Mt. Everest in Nepal. This amazing group of people has raised over $260,000 in order to support research being done on cancer and has spread hope that a cure will be found through their actions. Join us for one of our local adventures and decide if this is a movement you want to be a part of.

If you'd like to find out more about the group, explore our website at http://www.journeysofinspiration.com.
