Next Gen : Oracle certification path and how you can improve your Java career

  • Mar 31, 2014 · 6:00 PM
  • BBD

The Oracle Certified Java Programmer is the core of the Oracle training ecosystem. It marks a developer with aptitude and is the entry criteria for all of their master and expert certifications.

Join Rory as he explains the Oracle certification path and how you can dramatically improve your Java career, easily, cheaply and at home.

The 'Next Generation Jozi JUG' is not a normal Jozi JUG.
It is specifically for skilling up new and intermediate Java developers in South Africa.

There is a regular Jozi JUG session that runs as a separate track to this. So please only RSVP to this event if you are a new and intermediate Java developer.

18:00 - 19:00 Social and food

19:00 - 20:00 Rory Preddy

A java developer since 2001 he is a Sun Certified Java Programmer.

Rory works in the R&D department at BBD and runs in-house training and consulting.

Oracle says there are more than 800,000 Java certified professionals globally and many sources estimate over 8,000,000 java developers. That means 10% of all developers are certified
