We are a group of fun and active moms aspiring to teach Spanish and our Hispanic traditions to our children. Our main goal is to teach and practice Spanish with them by having outings, play dates, celebrating birthday parties, and holidays. Our group is looking forward to make long lasting friendships for children and moms, serve as a support group for our members, and learn new things at each meeting.

SPANISH SPEAKING IS A NUMBER ONE PRIORITY FOR THIS GROUP, whether you are a native speaker or a beginner. People with different backgrounds are welcome!

All family members are welcome to join our group including, stay-at-home, work at home, part-time, or full-time moms, dads, nannies, abuelitos, and las abuelitas tambien. Todos son Bienvenidos a unirse al grupo.

We will be meeting twice a week and once every other weekend (for the moms that work during the week)

We will plan our meetings at local parks, libraries, museums, zoos, beaches, and places where our children can have a fun time and a learning experience.

The aim of "Jugando Aprendo" is that children will learn developmental concepts such as language and our traditions through games, art, singing songs, and music. Also, we will be learning a little bit of "American Sign Language" .

* We encourage and requiere participation on our message board and at least once every other week in our meetings.
