Hardware Guest Speaker: Ben & Nathan from Kespry on Drones

Hey Builders!

It’s been too long since our last Meetup, so we made sure this next event would be one to remember--DRONES! We’ve asked Ben Stabler (CTO) and Nathan Hall-Snyder (VP of Engineering) of Kespry, to share a couple of their thoughts, experiences and work they’re doing re: the drone systems they’re developing. Kespry is focused on building fully autonomous systems to solve problems that have a high dependency on manual operators. They’re doing some awesome things in the space so check out details below to join. Look forward to seeing everyone there.

Hardware Guest Speakers

Ben Stabler (CTO) & Nathan Hall-Snyder (VP of Engineering)

Ben & Nathan are part of the founding team at Kespry, an early stage venture-backed unmanned aerial systems technology company. They'll discuss some of the drone systems they’re working on and challenges they’ve face thus far. There will be some great show and tell and some awesome stories on developing hardware in the UAS/UAV space. This should be pretty exciting, so don’t miss out!

Really bummed that I missed it. Can someone tell me what Kespry does: makes drones and equipment (e.g. camera mount, etc. for photogrammetry); services (e.g. does mapping); other? Will you make slides available? Thanks very much.

Ben, it was great. They make charging stations for drones (quadracopters).

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
