I have heard lot's of great things about "Chris Claymore Greve".
Fun, uplifting, danceable, upbeat – those are the adjectives Calgary musician Chris Greve uses to describe Celtic music.
His brand of Celtic music is a cross between folk, country, bluegrass and pop.
His preferred venue is a pub, with a party atmosphere that gets fans out of their chairs, beer in hand, singing along to every song.
Greve plays with Calgary band Claymore and has his own solo act – both focused on Celtic music.
Celtic music might not be what you’d expect to find in ‘Cowtown,’ but Greve said it’s tough not to fall in love with the infectious music.
“What we hear from a lot of people is ‘This is not something I would have ever looked for, but now that I’ve come across it, I really like it and want to listen to it more,’” Greve said.
Greve lives for the energy of Celtic and Maritime music, and he wants to bring love of the music to Calgary audiences.
Whether he’s playing with Claymore or taking the stage by himself, the audience is guaranteed to have a good time.
“It’s usually a big party,” Greve said.
~See you there!~
