Halloween Dance Party-Dickens Pub

For those who would like another option to the Back Alley, I am also posting this. This is NOT a pub, so don't let the name fool you! Hang the DJ (lower level of Dicken's Pub) is created and DJ'd by Chris Hewitt, the former owner of the popular Warehouse/Underground which was closed down a few years ago. He is an experienced DJ who plays a variety of alternative rock, industrial,  and retro music. Very good dance music! He hosts these events only once a month but their halloween bash is even more popular. I went last year and it was great.  They are serious about Halloween and go all out with decorations and the costumes people wear there are like none you'll see anywhere else! This will have an "older" crowd than the Back Alley, which caters more to the much younger crowd.

So that gives everyone another option for Halloween Saturday night. If you'd like to change your RSVP from the Back Alley to here, feel free. Or sign up for both (as long as you plan to attend both) and show off your cool Halloween costume in 2 places! Dicken's pub is $15 cover all night. I think its worth it though. I can reserve tables for us at Dicken's pub, but they require everyone to get there before 9:30 pm, otherwise the place fills up too quickly to hold any tables (even that early). I will be at the Back Alley at 9 pm, then go to Dicken's pub after. If you want to stay at the Back Alley for a while, then come to Dicken's pub later, you can do that and just find us and we'll squeeze you in! Most people will be on the dance floor all night anyway.

Sounds like fun, though I was looking at the directions from the Back Alley to Dickens and it may be pricey for a cab ride there.

You're right, it could be pricey. May be best just to pick one or the other. I plan on driving from the Back Alley to Dicken's pub and hope I'll find parking!
