Android 4.0 ICS Source Code Now Available For x86-Based PCs





Google has now made Ice Cream Sandwich's x86 source code available to developers, meaning the doors are now wide open for them to make Android 4.0 run on all manor of things, but especially tablets. It may not even be available on any phones in the United States yet, but all the buzz is definitely of the cold sandwich variety. One of the biggest draws for many Android fans is its open source nature, meaning that anyone can in theory take it and make it run on anything so long as the source code is out there and it is built for the type of CPU you're trying to run it on.

Kinect 2 Will Be Able To Read Lips And Detect Emotions






With such an impressive résumé already, rumors are beginning to circulate about its purported successor, and if the claims turn out to be truthful, we could quite easily see Microsoft outdo itself in a similar manner to the way Activision continues to smash its own records with Call Of Duty. 3D Printing has really taken off into uncharted territories. This post is a little off topic from normal on Just Dev It, but it shows how far tech that would normally be used for industrial design and other prototyping. These 3D printers are so accurate and advanced today that they can produce an exact replica of a famous Stradivarius violin which included duplicating quality of sound. Because of their tight integration with iTunes, easy to use software and powerful features, iOS devices generally get higher satisfaction rates than, say, Android devices which, despite being quite powerful, aren't as easy to use (this is coming from an Android enthusiast). The latest smartphone from Apple – the iPhone 4S – is no exception as results of a recent survey indicate that the iPhone 4S has the highest customer satisfaction ratings for any Apple smartphone yet.
