A Place for those singles out there (All Ages) that have busy lives, don't have the time to make arrangements for dinner and/or don't like eating alone!  This also is great way to meet with a smaller group as some people don't prefer going to large group meetings.  This allows for a smaller social setting, if you prefer, but you must state this in your invite.  This is for women and men of all ages and is totally open for, women, to get together, men, to get together, and/or women and men, to meet.  You can specify a preference since you "the members" can set-up the "Invite".   It is very unstructured!  It is for anyone to just set a day and time to "Invite" someone to join them for dinner or maybe even some other activity.    

Members are able to "+ Schedule a MeetUp" (as it is displayed on the meetup home page)  and the member will post the time, date and any preferences they may have as to a dinner companion(s). 

HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLE "INVITES": 

"I would like another lady to join me for dinner around 5pm",   

"would like a male companion that is at least 40 yrs. or older for a nice dinner at six pm"

"I am open to anyone available at anytime for dinner tonight just don't want to eat alone"

Please remember this means that as few as two (you and one other person) could be meeting for dinner or other activity.  So if this is not your intention please indicate this in the "Invite" or "your acceptance to attend" that you would prefer to join the activity if several (three or more) people are attending. 

Don't worry if no one responds to your first "Invite", you may not always find someone available for dinner when you are, but keep trying and sooner or later you'll find someone interested! 

Hopefully everyone understands that they can schedule (post) the "meetup" but in this case a dinner "Invite".  If anyone is still unsure please contact me with any questions or to please offer any suggestions if you like!!

NOTE!!!   It is also quite helpful, as some members have suggested, that the people attending a scheduled meetup that at least one person email their cell number  to others (as a contact person) for the others to be able to find you at your scheduled destination!!
