This will be the 2nd night of 2 scheduled Saturday jams per month. Let's do this. As you know, Mark and some of the other members have worked really hard to make this a split jam event with 2 or 3 rooms running. This makes it very appropriate to play both soft and crunching tunes. Thanks for all the efforts to make this enjoyable for all the jammers and their guest.
What a great meet up this was. Everyone sounded terrific, and the prep for the upcoming show will result in an outstanding day of music for all those involved. Sorry that I can't be there. Many thanks again to Mark for his gracious and warm hosting, and for opening up his facility for our enjoyment, and to Skeeter for the ongoing leadership. Looking forward to another upcoming jam soon.

I admit, I get overwhelmed with so many people. So many great players. This particular jam wasn't great for me, but it happens. A lot of it is my own fault. Nice people and good music, as usual. (Just wish I was making more of it.)

Sorry to see that so many that had intended to make it had to divert their directions. had a really great group of jammers again and it looks like we are ready for a great time next week. Not sure if we will have near the amount anticipated, but we are going to give it our bet shot. Looked like a few were a little confused last night bit it's all good. Hope you had a good time jammin. Thanks to those that made it and was able to with stand my rambling. Thanks to Naz and Bob, We are going to have some Fans and Song Books real soon. Marz has Started a collection of songs per player also. Think this will help tremendously. Dale brought out a good point once again to bring 4 or 5 sheets or your desired music with you and will do the best we can to accommodate your request. Keep the songs simple and picks some stuff you really enjoy. We have a small jam today. Looks like only a dozen or so jammers. Let have a great day... Thanks again to all that have supported JDB2j in the past .

Ya know, maybe what this group needs is a songbook...maybe 30-40 songs to start off. I'd be willing to compile one and make spiral-bound copies if I get reimbursed for the expense. All I need is a list of songs and the preferred key (unless you want them in Nashville Notation). Whaddya think?

"Year Of The Cat" I can see Skeeter on drums, Jennifer on SAX, Dave on string, Danny on keyboard, Naz or Mark on guitar, and maybe CHINAMON on vocal and rhythm. Won't be ready for Chaparral, but a hell of a song for EVERYBODY to join in !!!
