  • Feb 24, 2013 · 12:00 PM
  • This location is no longer available

Just continue on the much requested bunch of Jammin. Bring what your got and make it a time that is easy for you. Doors will be open at 11 am so you can come and go as you please up until 9 pm. I will not put a limit on this for attendance. Just understand that it will get a bit crowded with 10 or more here at one time. Be ready for some outdoor acoustic if it gets a bit crowded inside. Let's Jam !!!

      i had a write up here but it didnt post so... the overall jam was great. my Zep days came rushing back when Jim & I did Ramble On. That was fun. and when Jason came in with his banjo, we IMMEDIATELY put him to work on the Who's 'Squeeze Box'. that turned out great. good job, everybody. thanks. don't forget to look at the video of I Believe in discussions.

    Very nice format overall;
    Johnny was the event host and brought food, drink and talent for all to enjoy. We were back to our rocking ways but chilled down a bit so Country B. & Jim could show us so more awesome acoustic talents. Jason; One of our newest members dropped by with his Banjo and just missed the acoustic set by a few minutes. He did jam along with the rest of us and shown to have some great talents also. Think this is going to be very exciting in the future.
    We had a pretty good turn out yesterday and discussed the possibility of choosing 3 songs each to highlight at the Chaparral Gig. So far, so good. I will post the songs as we develop them together. I would like to know who would like to be a part of these songs. The presenter has the option to request their backing players. I sure hope everyone likes the idea.
    The jam was slightly shorter than anticipated yesterday, but I am sure it was do to part by the Oscars. Still had a great turn out that lasted over 6hrs.

    Is this acoustic or electric?

    February 7, 2013

    • Pat ( SKEETER) G.

      This is a whatever jam ; so I would assume about 95% electric. I am going to try to keep porch swing for acoustics But I'm sure we can tune down for a few acoustic songs.
