  • This location is shown only to members

Just continue on the much requested bunch of Jammin. Bring what your got and make it a time that is easy for you. Doors will be open at 1 pm so you can come and go as you please, up until 8 pm. I will not put a limit on this for attendance because this is a fantastic jam site and can cater up to 200 jammers and or guest. Just understand that there will be a $10 meet up fee for the jammers upon arrival, but all guest, Family and Friends are FREE.

We will receive $2 off pizza's thanks to the influence on management from Jeff Gates and Steve Camera . This will be a 21 and over event so you have plenty of time to set up your schedule for this event. Many jammers have requested this so here it is. Let's Jam !!!

I want to thank everyone for letting me sing with you. I thoroughly enjoyed it. And thank you too for the beautiful guitar! I couldn't have been more surprised or pleased! And now Jeff is going to have to teach me to play a little! Ha, ha, ha.

    April 29, 2013

  • Jacklyn

It was fantastic! Great music, good food, good friends.................couldn't have been any better!

    April 29, 2013

  • Pat ( SKEETER) G.

( Continued) Anyway, The turnout was great... I hope that the jammers and guest had a great time. We had a solid collection to pay for the event thanks to your donations. Sorry that we had to cram though the songs but will will get better with time once you appoint an organizer that can handle such activities. Thanks for the support for Maile with the $33 plus the $20 that the winner Bill donated to wards her Glasses gives her $53. Thank you all and I know that Maile will appreciate this from the bottom of her heart.
Alright; Jackie won a Guitar and I hope that all had plenty to eat and drink. I really want to put out a VERY Special thanks to Murph, Shredder, Naz, Jennifer, Jackie and Vitim for all the extra effort they put into this event. Dale and John from the Rusty dog were awesome as always. I heard mention that some folks would like to do this monthly. I truly believe and suggest that we do this a few times a year at Shredder Mark's with a full blown out set up at his place.

    April 29, 2013

  • Pat ( SKEETER) G.

Well; there will probably 2 pages of comments again so look for all the input..
Now!!!! Thank you everyone that attended and brought family and friends. I slept in until 8am this morning. Haven't done that in years. Thank you !! It looks like we already have about 25 pics posted and I'm adding about 85 more. Thank you Jackie for taking the time to do this and the others also. I was a bit busy at times and you members really worked your butts off on this one.
I am sorry that screwed up the time frame from the get go and not every one got to play all the tunes but at least everyone got on stage at one point or the other. I really think I spent way too much time up there, but I was THERE TO JAM !! Thanks all of you that backed me and all the other musicians.
China Mon had a great group of players there and it was great to here their talents. I will really concentrate on the sound quality for these groups in the future. I will try to work a little closer with John next time.

Had a great time meeting new people and seeing all my friends again. Only wish we had more time to do a proper sound check for the acoustics and country. I realize that time was limited and it's a challenge often time to switch from a rock PA set up to an acoustic format. Every body did however put forth their best effort. Thanks again Skeeter for inviting us !!!

Haven't seen too many country and acoustic in the line up, so here's my contribution to the mix. YOUR MAN-Josh Turner,Perhaps Love-John Denver, Don't Close Your Eyes- Keith Whitley, Have to Say I love you in a song-Jim Croce, Still Make Cheyenne-George Strait., Amarillo By Morning-George Strait, if time allows and if I can get a string to do the intro to make it sound right.

    April 17, 2013

    • Pat ( SKEETER) G.

Acoustic will start earlier than the country. I will have a few songs in there before your main group starts. It will all gel together some how. No worries !! We'll work on some things Saturday also..

I am coming with my bass guitar to backup one or more singers who I am rehearsing with. I guess I need to bring my amp too - this is my first JDB2J event so I don't know the protocol. I'll bring my harmonicas too for backing up whoever I can find who may want blues harp in the mix.

That's awesome Cam. Everybody needs a good Bass man !!!

      April 17, 2013

    • Jennifer G.

Yes, Skeeter's talking about my song called "You fell For Me"(which I'll be singing). It's a regular 12 bar blues. After each verse/chorus there's some extra space that could be filled up. I've got a version on CD and Skeeter's got it too. It would be great if you could hear it first!! I'll be at the jam's on the 20th, 21st, and 27th. Thanks much!

      April 17, 2013

I've never done anything like this before, but I'm up for a challenge. I'd like to do City of New Orleans, Rye Cove, and Tambourine Man. I mainly need a fiddle, mandolin or banjo player to make them sound interesting, but I could use a lead guitarist too since my playing sucks. If anyone is interested, let me know.

    April 5, 2013

    • Naz

Drew's banjo, my mandolin, dave's violin, rick's ukulele. sounds like a taping of HeeHaw...

      April 16, 2013

    • Pat ( SKEETER) G.

THAT WOULD BE AWESOME FOR THE ACOUSTIC SETTING. WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO USE PICK UPS ON THE ACOUSTICS IF THE MICS DON'T WORK WELL.

      April 17, 2013

  • Jennifer G.

Anybody willing to play "Turn the Page" by Bob Seager? I'm doin the sax and Naz will sing, but we need back up. I'm freakin. Who can I count on?

      April 17, 2013

  • diane

Leslie would like to sing a song or two. Is it possible for her to get some musicians on : That's all. My girl. Cry me a river. Summertime or Kansas City?

    April 16, 2013

    • Dave G.

I could back her up on My Girl (either flute or violin), Summertime or KC (sax or guitar).

Yo Skeeter, you have a lineup yet. Let me know if you can work us in.
Later in the session would be best for us.

    April 16, 2013

    • Jennifer G.

Hey Lu. Are you gonna be coming to any of the pre-Chaparral mtgs coming up? I'm asking cuz I have an original that I'll be singing and I've got the players, but I'm told that a little harmonica would sound good on it. If you wanna do it and we could run through it beforehand, that'd be great. (I won't be singing it at the end of the night, though.)

      April 17, 2013

  • Don E.

somebody was looking for acoustic-electic guitar back-up I think it was Naz I could do it

    April 16, 2013
