My first gig was at the marine base in Pico Rivera, CA in 1979, so that should give you an idea of how old I am. My first instrument, as a kid, was the accordion, then I moved on to piano. I learned how to play guitar soon after graduating HS, then some band needed a bass player, so I learned that instrument. I also took a few drum lessons, and can lay down a pretty good groove. Not to brag, but when a jam night host sees me walk through the door, he can smile with the knowledge that I can sit in on any instrument needed.
I work at Woodsound Studios as a recording engineer. You had a meet-up there, and I had a great time. I am currently bandless. I do a one-man-band show, but there's nothing like a great jam with real people!
