Hello, chicken community! Due to forecast-ed thunderstorms, we are going to move the workshop back one week in hopes of clearer weather. See you on June 20th!!

We left our four five weeks hold chicken unattended for an hour in the garden for the first time today (we have been keeping them inside the apartment since they were chicks); uppon our return, one chicken vanished, my 7yr old girl is devastated; We are sad and baffled, not understanding what happened...I searched all adjacent gardens to ours without success... a crow has nested on top of the garden tree, would anyone know if he could have taken our chicken? After how many weeks most of you left your chicken unattended in your backyard?

Could use some wisdom – I live in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn and have eight Silkies – four of which are rapidly evolving into roosters! Not willing to make soup. Any ideas of a happy home for roosters? Many Thanks Sasha
