Introduction

I'm very interested in helping others to pursue urban chickening. I produce a weekly radio segment "Bucky Buckaw's Backyard Chicken Broadcast." It's syndicated on Community Radio stations, and rebroadcast on Canada's "Deconstructing Dinner."

What neighborhood of NYC do you (or would you like to) keep chickens in?

Astoria, Long Island City, or wherever the chickens will it.

Where do you keep chickens or where do you plan to keep chickens? For example: in a community garden, an urban farm, a school garden, a backyard, etc.

I had to leave my flock with a good friend (who I trained in chickening) when I left Boise, Idaho to return home to NY. I'm still looking for a suitable place to start a new flock but am also excited about helping community gardeners and homeowners.
