Re: [Just-Food-City-Chicken-Meetup-NYC] re-homing the Lost chicken Hi All,

I took pity on this chicken and had Steve (the Carroll Gardens rescuer) bring it over to me in Park Slope late last night. This morning when I took the bird outside to meet my hens, it started crowing with joyful abandon...6:30 am, people....and I realized that (duh....)  this is a very young Brahma rooster. Here’s a better photo.

Does anyone have any connections outside the 5 boroughs who I could call about re-homing this little fella? He’s gorgeous and tame, but I can’t imagine he was destined for anything other than a dinner that I’ve taken this on, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Someone found a chicken in South Brooklyn and is looking for the owner. Is this your hen?
