Re: [Just-Food-City-Chicken-Meetup-NYC] Rooster & PULLETS!

I have a single brahma chick that we rescued from a dumpster that is in great health but could use company. It's too small to put in with my full grown girls just yet.

I am moving to start a farm in NJ at the end of next month and would be glad to take them with me to the farm. We'll have some livestock guardian dogs there to keep them safe!

Aaron, if you are planning on getting chickens, I'd recommend a minimum of 3. If one dies, you want the remaining birds to have some company, as they are very dependent on companionship for their survival.

Hi Mike, I'd be happy to take them as well. I was just going to order two for my backyard in Gowanus.

Meg, would you take them with you when you move? If you want to take them now I'd love to have them passed on to me.
