Hi Ellen,

I should be able to, I live in Carroll Gardens and have a car.

Is anyone driving their order to Brooklyn, and might drive my two sacks of feed too? I am in Windsor Terrace, and would be happy to pay for your time -- in fresh herbs and tomatoes, or cold hard cash.

Update! Countryside has shipped the order...there were some back ordered items that held things up but the tracking information projects a Tuesday delivery. Note that this is subject to change if the freight carrier contacts us and pushes it back a day. It has happened before.

I will email confirmation to all that it has been delivered that afternoon for pick up at Brooklyn Grange on Northern Blvd in LIC.

Please bring a check made out to Megan Paska or you can contact me to send you a paypal invoice if it's easier.

Let me know if you have any questions and thanks again to all who got involved in this group order!

Hey everyone,

Sorry I've been off the radar for a few weeks. I just moved to a farm an hour from the city where I'll be keeping about 75 egg laying hens, ducks, rabbits and goats! It was a big move but I couldn't be more excited. Thanks for bearing with the lack of posts regarding new orders.

I'm working with Brooklyn Grange Rooftop Farm in Long Island City to continue placing orders with Countryside Organics so that we can keep the flow of good quality feed coming through the city.

Not only does Countryside sell amazing quality animal feeds, but they also have soil, soil amendments and cover crops if any of you folks plan on doing any fall planting in your gardens or urban farms.

Please view the online catalog HERE. Please email me for pricing for non-feed items.

Feed prices are as follows:

Organic Soybean-free layer Mash (50 lb) $32.00 (includes freight)
Organic Scratch Feed (oats, corn, wheat--50lb) $25
Organic Soy-free Starter Feed or Grower/Broiler Feed (25 lb) $22
Organic Soy-free Rabbit Pellets (50lb) $34

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. I will be submitting an order over the weekend so that it is delivered by the end of next week.
