If that doesn't work out with Chris, we can introduce her to our sweet rhode island red and two bantams :)

Chicken friends,

I hatched five eggs with a preschool group.  Four out of the five were roosters and I sent them to a happy home upstate, renting expensive zip cars.  I am left with one very sad buff orpington hen, who we kept because she was so sweet and seemed to love people.  She's supposed to go to a friend's place next week (they are away now), but in her loneliness she has started making tons of noise and getting aggressive.  There's a possibility that she is a "he", but I think she's just lonely - we don't have eggs yet, but are expecting them any day.  Does anyone want to spare my neighbors and give the poor girl some feathered friends?  I can't afford any more rental cars!

Many thanks,
Phoebe (and Talullah the Hen)
