A chicken stops laying during molting so perhaps you have some of that going on. When molting some hens are very obviously losing feathers and with others it is more subtle.

Another thought, may they be more affected by shorter days.?? I have a coop, and my husband found a battery operated, round light, it has about 20 circle with mini halogen bulbs, it is on all night, as battery operated cannot be used with a timer. It does not heat up.

A red star or sexk line should not stop laying at one and a half, she may be internal laying. Or is another hen eating the eggs?? Have you uped her protein like Agway 18 or 20 percent protein??
I have two and three year old sex links and they are still producing.
