Winter Chickens

Looking for a home for my 7 hens and one rooster for the winter. They live in a community garden I run, but due to new circumstances, I won't be able to get out there every day this year to feed/thaw water. Also I'd like to try to starve the rats out this winter so they go elsewhere.

I'd love to have them back in the Spring but if any takers out there wanted to keep them, I also would be willing to start fresh with new birds in the Spring.

I have 2 brown hens, three white hens, one black leghorn (I don't think she lays) and one fancy black and white beauty with feathers on her feet. Hoping they can all go to one home. Oh yeah and my rooster. I know he is a harder sell for city folk, but I had to try. He is really awesome, he is a prancer.  He hops around instead of just walking. He is on the louder side though :)

Please be in touch if you think you can help!
