Almost two weeks after a devastating Hurricane Sandy, our city and our region are steadily rebuilding. We have all seen and felt the tragedy brought by the storm, but we have also experienced the true compassion and selflessness that such challenges inspire. Amidst an ongoing need for aid, Hell's Kitchen Farm Project has decided to postpone its seasonal benefit to focus much needed resources on post-Sandy recovery and relief.
Thankful for the efforts of our HKFP community over the course of this year, however, and grateful for an abundant season, we have chosen to celebrate with a small pot-luck and gathering of friends and family.
We welcome you to join us at this very casual community celebration
Tuesday, November 13th
6:30pm - 8pm
Metro Baptist Church
410 West 40th Street
bet. 9th and Dyer Ave.
We look forward to opening the farm in Spring and encourage you to keep donating / volunteering / being present for those affected by Hurricane Sandy
Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our work and of this city!
