We are a fun, down-to-earth group of women who like to talk, laugh, eat, drink and even learn a little all while cultivating new, meaningful friendships. If you are anything like me you have realized that all of your friends have either moved away (or you have moved away), have small children or just aren’t interested/don’t have time to “hang out” anymore. The only prerequisite is that you have the desire to actively build a strong circle of real girlfriends!

A few examples of events you might find on our calendar include Dinners, Movies, Happy Hours, Brunches, Hikes, Bowling, Trivia Night, Karaoke Night, Shopping Trips, Wine Tastings, Beach Days, Spa Days…the possibilities are endless:)

The following are a few simple rules (really just a certain level of courtesy) that we ask our members to abide by. Let's all just have good manners:

1) There is at least a $1 fee for all events.  The $1 fee will go toward your yearly membership dues and the monthly cost of running the group. I have to pay Meetup $15 a month to have this site.    

2 ) Show up if you say you are going to be there. If you can't make it, change your RSVP.

We understand life happens. If you RSVP “yes” and can't make it at the last minute, please contact your host. (If you RSVP “yes” and “no-show” you will be removed from the group.

3) Please give everyone a chance to talk. You may Love to hear yourself talk, but not everyone else does. Some people are shy. If you are not shy, try to engage that shy girl in conversation.  

4) Please don't criticize the other girls in the group (what they do for work, hobbies, etc.).
