RSVP Policy

~Due to the small-scale of our events, we have a strict RSVP Policy~



1) If you do not RSVP, we will assume you are NOT coming to the event.


2) If you RSVP "yes", we expect that you PLAN to attend. Also note that since our events do not allow "maybe" RSVPs, if you communicate to me in someway that you "might" attend, I will consider that a "no" RSVP, and will not plan on your attendance.


3) We understand at some point you may need to change your RSVP from a "yes" to a "no". That happens sometimes. We do not have a problem with that. Just come back to the event page, and update your RSVP.


4) If you need to change your RSVP from "yes" to "no" WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE EVENT, you should send an email to my private email account Tara_Lou_@hotmail.com I do not like showing up for events only to find that everyone was a "no-show"! :--) All I ask is that you COMMUNICATE WITH ME and exercise common courtesy. If time allows, it would also be helpful if you could update your RSVP on the event page, just so that others can be aware of the change in the event RSVPs.


5) If you RSVP "yes" for an event WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE EVENT, note that I may not have had access to my computer within that timeframe, and so may not be aware that you plan to attend the event. You will therefore need to be on the lookout for the group at the event, since we may not know to look for you. In addition, if the event is something that requires reservations/tickets, be sure to contact me directly so that I can be sure we are still able to accommodate you.

6) Since our events are on the small side, if an event fills-up, please don't ask me to "let you know" if somebody else cancels so that you can then attend. I can't keep track of everybody and special requests, unfortunately. So if there's a cancellation, a general notice will go out to everybody, or else you'll just have to check back to the event to see if someone cancelled.

7) Note that (barring extenuating circumstances for specific types of events), I normally will not cancel an event simply due to a low RSVP rate, even if it is just me and one other person scheduled to attend.


TO REPEAT, I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH PEOPLE HAVING TO CANCEL AT THE LAST MINUTE, IT HAPPENS. WHAT I DON'T LIKE IS WHEN THEY DO NOT COMMUNICATE THIS FACT TO ME, AND I AM LEFT STANDING SOMEWHERE, WAITING AND WONDERING WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM.
