40 on/10 off in Brookfield!

  • Barnes & Noble

    C1, 95 N. Moorland Road , Brookfield, WI (map)

  • We will be meeting at the Barnes & Noble (look for big table towards back of store, past the Cafe)
  • [Monday this time. Tuesday for the next meetup].

Let's get together and write. We'll start with 10 minutes of socializing and getting coffee/food and then we'll write for 40 minutes. Then socialize for 10 minutes and then write for 40 minutes. You get the idea.  Write your novel instead of just daydreaming about it. As this group's About section describes it, "Butt in seat, hands on keyboard!"

As Barnes and Noble in a mall setting can get pretty busy, we may have to spread out a little bit. I should be there a little early to put some tables together. If you end up wanting/having to sit on your own, please come and say hello! I would love to meet you and thank you for coming!

    NOTES:

    1. There are a few tables past the cafe, beside the elevator. We might take those as those tables are larger.

    2. B&N usually plays music, so you might consider getting your earphones and MP3 player to tune off the outside music and listen to your instrumental stuff (or whatever it is that aids your writing)!

     3. No chargers nearby. So keep your laptops charged.

Sounds like a productive and interesting group-- just my style! I'm looking forward to meeting with you.

I'm trying to update my profile like Kriti suggested we do with links to our work, but for some reason when I post my facebook url it doesn't work. It's not clickable. Any ideas?

Sorted it. In case anyone else is having the same problem - only put links in the "Introduction" box.
