40 on/10 off in Brookfield!

Let's get together and write. We'll start with 10 minutes of socializing and getting coffee/food and then we'll write for 40 minutes. Then socialize for 10 minutes and then write for 40 minutes. You get the idea.  Write your novel instead of just daydreaming about it. As this group's About section describes it, "Butt in seat, hands on keyboard!"

As Barnes and Noble in a mall setting can get pretty busy, we may have to spread out a little bit. If you end up wanting/having to sit on your own, please come and say hello! I would love to meet you and thank you for coming!

1. There are a few tables past the cafe, beside the elevator. Those tables will be reserved for us.

2. B&N usually plays music, so you might consider getting your earphones and MP3 player to tune off the outside music and listen to your instrumental stuff (or whatever it is that aids your writing)!

 3. No chargers nearby. So keep your laptops charged.

It was nice meeting all of you the other night! Unfortunately, I can't make it to this weekend's MeetUp, but I will definitely attend future events.

I liked the structured feel to 40/10, and Alicia did a great job of sticking to the timetable to ensure we all stayed on track!

Looking forward to this meetup! I've tried several other writing groups, each of which were flaky. Who could predict writers to be so unreliable!?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
