How did you hear about KEPRI?

Exploring information on the stone chambers in Fahnestock

Have you been to a stone chamber or other megalithic site?

I have visited about 4 or 5 chambers .

Who do YOU think built the chambers and how old do you feel they are?

From inspecting them I would suspect that they may have been built sometime during the late 1800"s. I discovered some rather deep drill marks on some of the stones that were more than likely drilled by mechanized means.

What will you be willing to do to help protect and preserve them?

I would be willing to do maintenance and restoration if requested. I have done work for The Mational Parks Service along with The Kentucky Drystone Conservancy in the restoration of historical stonewalls.

Do you have any disabilities that limit your ability to hike? This doesn't mean you can't join. It just means you may not be able to attend our frequent hikes. We do hold other events.

No disabiilities
