How did you hear about KEPRI?

searching "stone chambers"

Have you been to a stone chamber or other megalithic site?

Yes, many: a handful of stone chambers (visiting a few before I knew the significance) and the megaliths on top of Scunemunk Mountain. Three balanced rock sites. Mystery Hill (MA), Gungywamp (CT), western Anasazi sites and cliff dwellings. Many different kinds of not-mysterious mines in the tri-state area.

Who do YOU think built the chambers and how old do you feel they are?

Evidence seems to point to pre-Columbian explorers in some cases. I think there are generations of chambers, some being older than others while some might be relatively new in the construction period.

What will you be willing to do to help protect and preserve them?

Stay up late.

Do you have any disabilities that limit your ability to hike? This doesn't mean you can't join. It just means you may not be able to attend our frequent hikes. We do hold other events.

No problems at all, I'm good to go.
