That's the idea! Patents and Inventions from the Kansas City Museum Collection

I had no idea how many inventions originated in the Kansas City area. Early vending machines, hair clippers, brickmakers and more will be on display at the Kansas City Museum through September 8. Museum hours are 10 A.M. through 3 P.M. Wednesday through Saturday, Noon to 3 P.M. Sunday. Admission is free, tours starting on the hour. I think we should do this on a Sunday.

Also, does anybody know if their ice cream parlor is still there?  I always liked their sodas...

Shorter than I thought. And they don't let you wander.

Hmmm, this actually looks pretty fun. I may have to dip in for this.

There is an article about this in the
FYI section on June 8th's KC Star. http://www.kansascity.com/2013/... Maybe we could combine this with the tours group and put it on the three more sites.

I think that's a good idea, as long as we can do it on a weekend.
