Trivia Night downtown at The Flying Saucer

Trivia Night is a fun event that the Flying Saucer puts on every Tuesday evening.  Out Meetup group meets there every fourth Tuesday of the month.  We always have a great turnout, and it's a lot of fun.  They are located at 13th & Walnut in the Power & Light District downtown.

We can easily accommodate 5-10 people at a single table, but much larger than that we will split up into teams.  Unfortunately the Flying Saucer no longer accepts table reservations on Tuesday nights since it's the busiest night of the week.  I will usually get there early, typically as early as 5:00, but no later than 5:30 to stake out a table.

I should caution that by about 6:00 all the tables are pretty well spoken for most nights, so please try to get here as early as possible.  If we can get enough people here early enough we should be able to save a few tables to accommodate the group.

The actual event doesn't start until 7:30, but if you get there early that leaves plenty of time to eat, drink, and socialize.  Trivia itself is free, but the food and beer here are great and I'd recommend them!

If you're interested in more information about the Flying Saucer, check out their website here.

Come on out and have fun with us!  If you have any questions feel free to contact me via meetup.com.  Also feel free to call or text my mobile phone at[masked] if you have any trouble finding us.

Look forward to seeing everyone there!

Ok, looks like I'll be there on time after all. I could still use some help holding seats though, so get down as soon as you can after 5:00. :)

I am probably going to be late (that is, later than 5:00). Can someone get up there early and save a table or two? I'll be up as soon as I can. Got some guys tearing up my garage fixing my foundation and I'll be a bit late. If we don't get tables by 5:30 or 5:45 there's a good chance we'll be out of luck.

Would I be correct in assuming this would not be the best place for a seven year old?

This particular group probably does not have many kid-friendly events but we do have another Freethinkers group that does - The Freethinking Family Fellowship keeps up an active calendar and does lots of fun stuff: http://www.meetup.com...
