Announcing a new Meetup for KC/JC Tai Chi Meetup Group!

Sorry, I haven't scheduled a Tai Chi Meetup in a while - been busy on an exciting new project, final edits on my new novel. The novel is filled with research on Tai Chi, and meditation facts, layered within a gripping high action thriller narrative.

Prosperos Books and Edokko Japanese Restaurant are coordinating a premiere book signing event for my new novel, "2012 The Awakening." Famed actor (and Tai Chi/Meditation practitioner), Holmes Osborne (The Box, Quiet American, Windtalkers, ER, Boston Legal, The X Files) plans to be there; world renowned Sufi chant composer/performer, Kris Kriner will be there (and will perform a couple of songs), and other local celebrities who have previewed my novel.

Holmes is currently working on a Tom Hanks film, where he'll be playing a Tai Chi teacher. I was his technical advisor to prepare for the role :-)

It is open to the public, if you like good meaningful fiction. 12 noon, on Saturday, July 17th. Although Edokko will be providing some light hors d'oeuvres (sushi, etc.) during the book-signing, some of us will be hanging out at the restaurant for lunch afterwards.
