SOMA Presents ReasonFest 2012!

I'm a little late in posting this, but I wanted to get it on the calendar.  A bunch of people from the local free thought community are converging on the KU campus in Lawrence for a weekend full of events being organized by The Society of Open-Minded Atheists and Agnostics, better known as SOMA (They're the best God-Damned group on campus).

ReasonFest is shaping up to look a lot like Skepticon, but closer to home for many of us.  The list of speakers includes some great people like Darrel Ray, JT Eberhard, and Jamila Bey.  Check the full schedule of events for more information.  There will be events all day Saturday and Sunday, February 11 and 12.

Registration is free, but SOMA is accepting donations to cover costs of running the convention, providing accommodations for the speakers, and other fees.  If you have the means, I'd encourage you to donate a few bucks to support such a great conference!

Please register if you plan to attend!

If anyone's interested in carpooling, etc. feel free to discuss below in the comments section.

Look forward to seeing you there!
