See website  for menu and other information.

Cole suggest that we tour Parkville and the "H.M.S. Beagle" the Kansas City Science Store.  A tentative date of  Oct 9 has been chosen.   After that tour this meetup group will not do any more tours until the warmer months next spring.

However if someone would like to plan tours for other months of  the year, please let me know, and you can plan one or more of those tour.

This has been a lot of fun.  If we are in town during the cooler months of the year, we may see you on another tour.  Marlys and Gene

I enjoyed the tour and luncheon very much. I learned several things about our Federal Reserve Bank. It was nice to learn the history of Hallmark and view the exhibits which covered several decades. The conversation at lunch was invigorating and I look forward to meeting more members i the future.

I would recommend that if you are visiting the Federal Reserve Bank, you try to do so with a group. You need 12 people to sign up and let them know their names a week ahead of time, but having a tour guide makes that tour so much more interesting. If you just want to walk in and hope to join a tour already in progress, try going at 9:30 or 1:30. That is the time that the guides do tour if anyone has taken the time to set it up as a group. If that group is not too big, you may be able to tag along. The Hallmark Visitor's Center was interesting. If you have kids, I would recommend Kalidoscope (sp) too. You need a kid to get into that tour. Milanos was a nice atmospher for lunch. The bread is fantastic and the do have round tables which makes for much better conversation between the group members.
