Stanley Banks, Assistant Professor and Artist in Residence at Avila University, Defying-the-Odds Alumni Award 2008, Mayor's Proclamation for Writing and Educational Efforts 2002, Langston Hughes Prize for Poetry 1981, and National Endowment of the Arts Fellowship/Grant
Growing up on 10th and Vine Street taught me a great deal about life.
LOCATION:   COR Sunday Program location - Room 301, Haag Hall (northwest corner of 52nd & Rockhill Road), University of Missouri at Kansas City (Park FREE on level 4 of the parking structure (southwest corner of 52nd & Rockhill Road); 3rd floor of Haag is accessed directly through breezeway over 52nd St., Turn right into Haag)
