Subject: [Provocateurs] "CAN SCIENCE & FAITH BE RECONCILED?" DISCUSSION

By popular demand (well, one guy asked me if we could do this again this Sunday), we're doing one more ...

DISCUSSION AT SCHLOTZSKY'S DELI, AFTER THE 11:00 SERVICE/SERMON ON SCIENCE/FAITH

Though last Sunday was the biggest event (with Dan Deeble and Jerry DeWitt there), I and at least one atheist (actually I think some others have mentioned it) think it would be great to continue the conversation, especially this last Sunday in this series when Jim Gum speaks on reconciling science and faith.  As a science journalist, I'm all over this issue and would enjoy talking about it with anyone who has a reaction to Jim's sermon, or anything else they'd like to discuss about:

CAN SCIENCE AND FAITH BE RECONCILED?

Meet by 10:55 a.m. just inside the front doors at Heartland Community Church so we can go in and sit together, and/or then:
Meet at Schlotzsky's Deli for a lunch discussion (starting around 12:15) over all the questions raised by this issue.

I won't put this on the Provocateurs website as an official meetup this time, but you can just reply to this email to say "I'm coming," and if you're new to this and need details/addresses, it's all the same as last Sunday, which you can find at:  http://www.meetup.com/ProvocateursAndPeacemakers/events/48808362/

Could be a smaller group, but a deeper conversation.
