Subject: [Provocateurs] TOMORROW: PERKINS 7 PM: A universe from nothing, morally superior & happier atheists, & Lazy Readers

Hey Folks,

How about if we start our tomorrow night talking about Lawrence Krauss's and others ideas about how something first came out of nothing, from Krauss's new book, plus from my interviews with cosmologists on the subject: Big Bang inflation pioneer Alan Guth, Nobelist John Mather, etc.

And then maybe talk about Iggy's question about secularists in countries who seem to be both happier and more moral than people in "Christian America."  Or other ideas?

And then I'm hearing about some fascinating books we'll be discussing TOMORROW NIGHT AT 7 PM AT PERKINS AT OUR

LAZY READERS NIGHT
A chance to learn about and discuss what everybody's reading from science, philosophy, history, politics, religion, psychology, etc.
RSVP NOW at http://www.meetup.com/ProvocateursAndPeacemakers  (It helps us know how to set up.)
Inline image 1    GET SMARTER!  Come discuss the latest everybody's learning, and learn something new:
For the nosy person who doesn’t have time to read it all but wants to know it all.
Bring whatever you've been reading, and come to discuss that and what everyone else is reading.  Subjects can include just about anything from the above list: fiction or non-fiction.  Books or articles.  Come to talk or come to listen.  No pressure, just friendly fun.
We 'll give anyone who wants 3-5 minutes to explain what they've been reading, and another 3-5 minutes for everyone to ask questions and discuss.  We always learn a ton.  Come make new friends and learn something new about what they’ve been reading.  It's the ultimate information exchange.

Come at 6:45 p.m. if you want to get to know folks, and to enjoy some coffee/dessert/dinner.

Green Mill or Callahan's afterward for more conversation.
