Jerry DeWitt needs your help

Hey, everybody.

You may know, know of, or talked to Jerry DeWitt - he's a former Pentecostal minister who is now head of the "Recovering from Religion".

Life has been rough for Jerry - he lost his job (both as a minister and later, when his position at the head of RR was discovered by his boss, as a civic building inspector). He could really use some help to pay his bills, and so the Kansas City Atheist Coalition has set up a ChipIn account to donate funds to help Jerry. We've all talked about building our community, and this is exactly why we build that community - to help those of us when it's needed.

I implore you to donate something - anything - to help Jerry:

As an added bonus, an anonymous donor has promised to match $100 in donations if we reach that by midnight tonight (Thursday, June 17). Please help!

KCAC is an official 501c(3) non-profit, so any donations made to help Jerry are tax-deductible.
