Midwest Skeptics Society:
By Hiten Soni MD "Sleep: All you ever wanted to know but were too sleepy to ask" tonight, Sat, June 2, 7pm at Perkins.
Hiten always gives a wonderfully informative and humorous approach to the sciences.
I'm sure this presentation will hold up to all of his other talks to the Skeptics.
Join us for a fun night with Hiten Soni MD! I would write more but I'm getting sleepy, sleepy, sleepy......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

There was a flurry of activities about sleep related questions. Based on what we were discussing yesterday (Saturday April 19), I think it is a good topic to provide education and service to the community. Besides I just finished a month in sleep clinic at St. Luke under the nation’s leading sleep expert.
"Sleep: All you ever wanted to know but were too sleepy (or not) to ask."
Dr. Soni will talk about why we need sleep? Are you getting enough? Why do we feel tired after eight hours of sleep? Ever start watching a show and wake in another show on TV? Should I ask my doctor if Ambien is right for me? What about melatonin? Dolphins ever sleep? Do horses sleep standing? Is my stress disturbing my sleep? We will look at epidemic of sleeplessness in America. What you can do to improve your sleep. Please note that this is an attempt at community education and not to diagnose or treat individual patient. Your questions are most welcomed.
