Hiten Soni: "Common Sense: Why We Think We 'Have It'" tonight, Monday, July 9, 7pm at North Kansas City Library.

If you missed his talk at the Skeptics here is your chance to catch it. Hiten is always funny and full of valuable information.  JOIN THEM! TO RSVP:  http://www.meetup.com/Northland-Freethinkers/

Common sense: we all think we have it, but there is shortage of it in everyone else. We will look at cognitive processes that often fool us and we do not even recognize it. What is happening in the brain that makes it hard for us to know that we are being fooled? What are the common biases that keep us from knowing the truth? We will discuss the current and past flops that were based on common sense or lack of it.
We'll be going to Applebee's afterward for drinks, food, and discussion. Come join us!
