Banned Book Week - come share your favorite banned book!

Charlene, Richard, and I have been working on an event for Banned Book Week, which celebrates books that people have tried to (successfully or otherwise) ban - whether it's something as severe as a fatwa on someone's head, or as minor as trying to get it removed from a school curriculum.

To celebrate this, we'd like to invite you to pick a banned book (there's a list linked to on the meetup), give a brief description of why it was banned and read a small snippet of it that you find particularly enjoyable.

Please RSVP at the Freethinking Family Fellowship and join the meetup!
