(Trip closed as of Dec. 19, 2013) Skip Times Square and come celebrate New Year's during four relaxing days on a wintertime canoeing expedition on the paddler-friendly Current River in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. We'll base camp at the Pulltite Spring Campground and then venture out each day by canoe to explore historic places and crystal clear springs, go fishing, and enjoy a scenic spring-fed river. Since we’ll be traveling during tourist off-season, we will nearly have the river all to ourselves. Novice paddlers and families are welcome. Canoe rental, paddles, PFDs, shuttle, permits, most meals & other expenses are included in the trip fee. This is Sierra Club National Outings trip #14400a.
