Kansas City families have been making memories at Fritz's Railroad Restaurant for decades. Order your food by telephone and it's brought to your table by an overhead train. Amazing!
There's nothing quite like the look of wonder on a child's face as the train comes chug-chug-chugging along with their dinner in tow! You may come for the novelty of the train, but you'll come back for the food!

Kansas City, MO SEA LIFE Aquarium
By Mary Anne McNeish, About.com Guide
SEA LIFE Aquarium at Crown Center: Kansas City has many great attractions, but never anything of the underwater variety. Excitedly enough, it was announced early last year that Merlin Entertainment would partner with Crown Center1 and bring their SEA LIFE aquarium attraction to the ground and second floors of the Halls department store (near the Crown Center Ice Terrace and adjoining fountains). Merlin's SEA LIFE2 is well known as one of the biggest aquarium attractions worldwide, with over 30 aquariums in both Europe and Asia. Kansas City's SEA LIFE will be the fifth attraction to open in the United States behind those in California, Texas, Minnesota, and Arizona.
SEA LIFE anticipates an April 2012 opening date and will also join Merlin's LEGOLAND Discovery Center which is also scheduled to open in the spring of 2012.
What to Expect: With over 260,000 gallons of water and 5,000 fish and sea creatures on display, expect to be completely immersed in the world under the sea as soon as you enter. SEA LIFE encourages interaction with their exhibits—and you can expect many things to be interactive and hands on. The attractions offer everything from viewing windows giving a glimpse into the ocean itself; to enlightening talks, feeding demonstrations, as well as involvement in the brand’s global environmental and conservation marine campaigning. Their ‘touchpod’ will allow those interested to touch crab and starfish.

Walk-Through Tunnel and Journey: In addition, a stunning centerpiece will be a huge tropical ocean tank with a walk-through underwater tunnel which allows visitors to come nose-to-nose with sharks in a spectacular underwater tunnel. Be prepared for some amazingly close views with everything from starfish and sharks to sting rays.
Finally, in keeping with other SEA LIFE attractions, there will also be a unique element reflecting the Kansas City locale, and SEA LIFE Kansas City will take visitors on an enthralling 2-3 hour journey from the fresh waters of the Missouri River, into the mighty Mississippi River then out into the warm blue coral strewn waters of the Caribbean Sea, ending in the deep dark abyss of the Atlantic Ocean.
