Lets get together and figure out KCWebCore's future.
I am in pain with back issues and can't drive. I am going to cancel tonight in person meeting and do it online. Meet me at https://experts.adobeconnect.com/deesadler and enter as a guest.

Okay. We have the Google event center booked for Wednesday, September 10, October 8, and November 12 from 6:30 to 9:00. There will be someone there to help set up microphones and the projector.
Unfortunately, I can't be there in September, and I may miss October depending on how my trip goes. It would be best if I let them know and give them another name so if there are questions they can be answered.
There is no charge.
Dee, please get back to me if we don't want those days or something. Also, you might give me a name and email address of someone who wants to trouble shoot for Sept. and Oct.

I asked at the Google Event Center what it would take to use the place for meetings. They took my name and said they'd email me.
An email from Nhung Hoangcame, asking for more information including what kind of activities, numbers of people attending, and whether or not food and drink would be involved. I made some guesses based on Video Core's attendance, mentioned presentations, demos, and maybe group work on a web design for a nonprofit. I said food and drink would not need to be provided, thinking that might be a problem for them.
She also mentioned that there would be a fee but not what it might be. I didn't ask Nick if he was paying for the space so I asked Nhung Hoang to let me know what might be involved.
Nothing is set in stone though I did mention September 10th and the girl at the door said it was open. I also told her that we'd be interested in the second Wednesday of the month.
I'll keep you informed as I get more info.
Hope the meeting went well tonight! Willing to help however I can, whatever was decided.

We decided to form a Board, try to get the Google Fiber space, decided on the 2nd Thursday or when we could get a space, that our first task would be a small non-profit site, so everyone could contribute.

Sounds good. Sorry I couldn't make it tonight!
Besides, the Jack White concert is tonight and it is going to be crazy downtown.
I hope to be there this has been such a great group.

Well, the wife just reminded me that I have a school related item for my son on the 18th that was already scheduled, so I won't be able to make it unfortunately. I am, however, very interested in keeping WebCore going, to the point of volunteering to co-run / run it so definitely want to hear how the meeting turns out.

Alright. We will talk.
I used to enjoy going to 3 or 4 user groups a month, now it's down to 2. I'd like to get that chance again.

There is VideoCore also.

I go to vidio core and des core. I miss the Photoshop and web core.
The Photoshop one is still going as well.
And I have the UX group, so we have 4 active groups, but I miss WebCore also.
Dee, I would be willing to find a meeting place and handle that end of the deal to keep it going. I'm afraid I don't have much in the way of web skills but I enjoyed going to the meetings, learning and meeting people. If someone else wants to help find speakers and knows the subject, I'd be willing to supply the administrative end.
