I don't know if eveyone knows about this or not, perhaps it can be made into an official meetup, but British scientist, Andrew Berry will be giving a presentation at the Plaza Branch Library on Thursday October 12th at 7:30pm on Darwin's Theory Today. He will, "demystify the most important and misinterpreted of all biological ideas: evolution." He is a lecturer in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University, Berry's research is didicated to finding evidence of Darwin's Theory of Natural Selection at the DNA level. You have to RSVP through the library website at: kclibrary.org or call them at[masked]
