What we’re about

KNSJ.org at 89.1 FM is up and running! We're looking for fun, enthusiastic people to help with news, programming, operations, local music, recruiting, fundraising, etc. The station is just starting and there's plenty of room for exciting new programming, with an emphasis on progressive voices and local culture. KNSJ News Now - We're putting together a news team to help provide anchor Mike Hancock with up-to-date local, regional and national news.

SANDCASTLE (San Diego County Artist Showcase) - Interviews of local playwrights, musicians, performance artists, etc. and an opportunity to showcase their work (music, short plays or any art form that works on radio). Hosted by Karl Weiss.

The Bookshelf - Interviews of San Diego authors, hosted by Reina Menasche

East County News - A news program in conjunction with the online San Diego East County Magazine. Hosted by Miriam Raftery.

Democracy Now - The highly acclaimed syndicated progressive news program

Indie/Local Music - We're looking for new music, especially with progressive content, to add to the KNSJ playlist!
