I like cycling, hiking, canoeing, basketball, volleyball to name a few.
I am founder of Paleo Toronto, and always keep an eye open for new groups.
The year Loren Cordain's first book came out (2002), I found out I was pre-diabetic. I was so lucky to find his book. It made so much sense to look at ancestral health (pre-agricultural times). For five years, or till Mark Sisson's book, the Primal Blueprint came out, Loren's book was my dietary bible. I was hooked. I started several FB groups including The Ancestral Health Society of Canada, Paleo Toronto Organization, and Paleo Toronto (an old and healthy lifestyle). I still think there is so much to do, and I would love to broaden and bring together this movement. Last December I put out a call for an organizing committee to put on a regional Paleo Symposium. We had 12 people on the executive committee, and another 25 people interested in working on the project. The plan was to have it in 2015. What was and is required is 'seed money' to book a venue, do the marketing and get some key speakers. I had a list of 30 Canadians I had in mind. All were interested in speaking. Lets talk!
Hi, Glenn here. Excited to see KW Paleo. I started 'Paleo Toronto-GTA Paleo Life'. We've had close to 30 meetups so far. At present we are hovering at about 220 members in that group. We have to look at joint events, possibly an Ontario Symposium!
