Auditions/interview/reviews of many sorts taking place June 22nd, 4pm at 5300 Six Forks Rd. Raleigh (suite 207) for people who can contribute to the entertainment industry that want an opportunity to get on the payroll of a party that will be producing films, events and publications. Final reviews at 10pm.
A new team is in town referred as, "The Paying Party" and they are looking for people who have the talent and skill to make an explosion in the entertainment industry. Their goal is to establish a mixed portfolio and use it to contract work with major commercial industries. All work contributing to the portfolio will be paid work. They are determined to be hands-on and follow a plan to only work with those who are serious about their work and success. They want to KNOW the people that they will be recommending for projects or jobs. People will be put through stages of auditions, interviews, and reviews also known as a prospect and probation period where there is no pay. There is a hefty concern about the stability of the people going through the confirmation periods as well as those who have been paid for their services that add to the portfolio. The Paying Party has expressed that it would be unfortunate to have to remove work from a growing portfolio before and after launch, simply because the talent behind the work is no longer accessible. In light of this concern they plan to utilize a system that may help keep extra ordinary talent around long enough to end up being a part of the teams contracted to serve commercial industries or large budget jobs.
Why are they referred to as the 'paying party?' Because they will actually be the client for many entrepreneurs and professionals as they set projects for independent movies, soundtracks, online and print magazines, fashion shows, photo shoots, concerts and contests. Literally thousands of people are already making investments toward reaching their goals even if it means paying a photographer, a makeup artist, a videographer, a model, an actor, a host, a music producer, a dancer(s) or hundreds of other talented professionals that can help produce the things needed to find success in projects or to meet future plans. There is another way to put your money into achieving your goals not only to get exposure but to get paid work in the entertainment industry. This can be done by supporting a network that sponsors the very activities that you could be getting paid for.
The Paying Party will take a more serious approach at exploiting networking principles to the point of making it a requirement. If people fail to meet these requirements or the growth of the network is too slow, then the Paying Party will make team selections and turn to Agencies to provide the talent that they need.
